Rise in international child cases

International child residency court cases have more than doubled in the past two years and are up tenfold on a decade ago. The rise has been fuelled by the growing number of children born to at least one foreign parent. The figures are based on interventions by a British legal team under Lord Justice Thorpe, a Court of Appeal judge.
